ECD Automotive Design Debuts Colorado-Bound Defender 110

ECD Auto Design (ECD) has revealed its latest build, Project Mexico 1.

“Project Mexico 1 is a chic restored vintage Defender well-suited for its new Colorado home. At ECD, we’re more than a vendor, we’re true partners – beginning in the design process. Our specialists expertly provided personalization options to adapt the traditional Defender for this environment, and the end result is a gorgeous Land Rover that’s unlike any other,” said Elliot Humble, CTO and co-founder of ECD.

Beginning with an engine upgrade to a Corvette LS3, ECD designers added a soft-hued glossy green exterior, as well as 16-inch wheels painted cream to match the roof. On top, the build has a full-size roof rack with four bike mounts and four additional LED lights mounted on the roof rack, and one work light on the side.

Inside, Project Mexico 1’s details continue with matching tan Italian leather dashboard, steering wheel and seats with green piping. For the driver, vintage gauges add a classic touch, while a touchscreen stereo, color matched to the same tan, complete with Bluetooth and CarPlay. Other modern upgrades for the 2023 ski family include two spacious jump seats, a JL Audio speaker, four cupholders and heated front seats. Stylishly continuing the green motif is the custom carpet, complete with four mats – protecting the flooring from snow and mud from long days on the slopes.
