Dyson Cancels EV Project

James Dyson, inventor of the Dyson bagless vacuum cleaner, has shuttered his company’s electric vehicle project due to a lack of commercial viability, according to Automotive News.

The company was aiming to bring its first all-electric car to market in 2021, which would have been the first of three models developed by the company.

The report also indicated that the company searched for a potential buyer for the program, but was unsuccessful.
