Dur-A-Flex Inc. has expanded its operations in the Southeast. President and chief operating officer Peter V. Ferris recently signed a lease for a 15,000 square-foot facility in Atlanta.
“Atlanta is a major, growing area and our decision to open a fourth Dur-A-Flex facility is in line with our continued commitment to providing the best possible customer service to our customers,” Ferris said. “Our presence in the Atlanta area will enable our customers in the South to receive the same superior sales and technical service assistance as our East Coast, West Coast and Midwest customers receive.”
The new facility will house some of Dur-A-Flex’s product inventory of floor and wall systems, a Design Center showcasing thousands of product samples and staff in the areas of sales territory managers, technical service, shipping & receiving and customer service. According to the company, the location will also act as a fourth venue for Dur-A-Flex’s Applicator Training Program, which is designed to elevate quality-focused project assessment and product installation.
“Our Sales and Operations teams are excited to have the Dur-A-Flex flag planted firmly in the ground in the south,” said Patrick J. Meade, vice president of sales and technical support. “The relationships forged over the years in the Atlanta market will be greatly enhanced by our quick reach to all corners of the southern region.
