Dirt Late Model racer Devin Moran, who competes in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, World of Outlaws and other circuits, has switched to BILSTEIN AS2-R shocks, the company announced.
The 26-year-old from Dresden, Ohio, pilots a Longhorn Chassis powered by Clements Racing Engines for Tye Twarog Racing (TTR).
“I’m thrilled to be heading into the heart of the season on BILSTEIN AS2-R shocks,” said Moran. “The performance and versatility of the AS2-R Series can’t be matched and being able to tune specifically for each track will give us an edge as we race for a championship. We are grateful for the phenomenal tech support and service we’ve received from BILSTEIN, they are a great to work with and a valued partner.”
Having competed since 2009, Moran is the son of one of the most successful Dirt Late Model racers of all time, hall-of-famer Donnie Moran. Donnie was also a BILSTEIN driver in the late-1990s.
BILSTEIN AS2-R Series shock absorbers are designed for motorsports applications. The package features an aluminum-bodied remote reservoir with tunable base valve technology and several adjustment options mated to BILSTEIN’s AS2 Series aluminum modular shock. The threaded-body shock can be used with or without coilover hardware.
