Detroit Free Press Names Vehicles of the Year

The Detroit Free Press has revealed its Vehicles of the Year.

The 2022 Car of the Year Award belongs to the Honda Civic, beating out the Lucid Air Dream and VW GTI and Golf R. Ford took home both the Truck of the Year and SUV of the Year Awards for the Maverick, which topped the Rivian R1T and the Hyundai Santa Cruz in its category, and the Bronco, ahead of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Wagoneer.
