Hamlin’s nearly three decades of experience in the tire & automotive industry will bolster AACF’s mission…

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has announced that Debra Hamlin has been elected to its board of trustees. Hamlin brings over 27 years of experience in the tire and automotive industry and currently serves as director of dealer development, operations and compliance for the Bridgestone Commercial Dealer Network (BCDN) at Bridgestone Americas.

As president of the board for the Tire Industry Association (TIA), Hamlin is a dedicated advocate for the industry, actively involved in training, education and government affairs. She also leads initiatives with Truckers Against Trafficking and Women In Trucking.

“I am honored to represent the Tire Industry Association (TIA) and its respective members,” said Hamlin. “Both Tire Dealers and Automotive Aftermarket representatives, with this position on the AACF board. The commonalities shared by these two organizations make sense for working together to share the mission and vision of the AACF. Consequently, I had the privilege of being on a similar charitable foundation for the Bridgestone Retail Organization (BFRC Associate Assistance fund) for over 10 years and presided over the BFRC AAF from 2018 to 2024. I am committed to bringing that passion for people along with over 27 years of experience in the tire and automotive Industry to this great organization that is committed to caring for industry members facing financial hardship.”

AACF executive director John Kairys added, “We are thrilled to have Debra join our Board of Trustees. Her leadership within the tire industry and her commitment to helping those in need align perfectly with AACF’s mission. Having the Tire Industry Association represented on our board strengthens our ability to serve even more individuals and families within the aftermarket.”
