ColorBond Seeks Excellence in Bestowing CLeo Award

ColorBond has once again proclaimed Carlos Medrano as winner of its CLeo Award. The CLeo Award recognizes individuals who have shown excellence utilizing ColorBond car interior paint to restore or restyle the interior of any type of automobile, including trucks, muscle cars and classics.

Medrano earned this year’s ColorBond CLeo Award for transforming the interior of his 2013 Honda Civic Si. The car will be on display in ColorBond’s SEMA Show booth-No. 24181 in the Main Hall-where Medrano will be presented with the award in a special ceremony on Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.

According to ColorBond, the CLeo was established in 2014 to honor Leo Kagan, who was responsible for moving the SEMA Show in 1977 from Anaheim, California to its current location in Las Vegas. Leo is 102 years old and continues to work for ColorBond Automotive Paint.

Past CLeo Award winners include Ken Bolen, Jay Van Houten, Carlos Medrano and Eddie Black.
