The year’s event will be held during its typical early June dates (June 4-6) in 2021 after the 2020 edition was postponed.
The event begins on June 4 with cars and vendors on-site as early as Wednesday, June 2. The event will feature a car corral with for sale vehicles, an automotive flea market, featured display vehicles and, at the neighboring Carlisle Expo Center, Ford test drives.
In addition to the showcase of cars, special themes and displays will anchor the indoor building displays. Ford weekend welcomes its first-ever Comic-Car Con. Additionally, the Pinto gets a 50th celebration, as does the Big Horse Mustangs (’71-’73). There will also be a Stroppe Reunion and the annual Ford Nationals Select display within Building Y.
Competitions and activities include autocross, ride-alongs from Gateway Classic Mustang, the Real Street Shootout, a rolling exhaust contest and more.
Hailie Deegan, a Ford Racing Development driver and daughter of racer Brian Deegan, is also scheduled to appear.
As part of the Manufacturers Midway and automotive flea market, manufacturers will be showcasing and selling new products, while A&A Auto Stores will be onsite handling installs of exhaust systems.
The event will follow current COVID-19 guidelines suggested by state officials and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
