Carlisle Auctions Generates $5 Million in Sales at Fall Show

Hundreds of classic and collector cars crossed the block at the Fall Carlisle auction to generate more than $5 million in sales. Over 100 years of production were represented, and each day of the auction offered something special.

$582,615 of the $5 million-plus in sales came from the top five sellers:

According to Carlisle Events, select consignments at the event were earmarked for charity. Sales dollars from some cars went directly to the local Carlisle branch of the Salvation Army, and a custom-built wagon was auctioned off to benefit a local animal rescue. The wagon, fabricated by Steve Mercurio of Pro Metal Shop of Danville, Pennsylvania, garnered $1,000 for the Speranza Animal Rescue, plus nearly as much in secondary donations.

The event also featured specialty hours dedicated to Ford and Chevrolet, and some spotlighting of trucks, as well.
