Car Toys Reopening Stores

Car Toys, a mobile electronics retail chain, is reopening stores in response to lifted shelter-in-place orders in Texas and Colorado.

All of the company’s Texas locations have opened while a majority of locations in Colorado have opened, with the remaining to open by May 8.

“When you come back you will find many precautionary changes as we seek to follow the highest safety standards for social distancing and disinfecting,” said CEO Dan Brettler in a statement posted to the Car Toys website. “These include limiting the number of guests in any store or area of the store, maintaining 6 foot social distancing, continuously cleaning and disinfecting every surface our staff and guests can touch, adjusting how we demonstrate products and communicate to customers to maximize safety, establishing new protocols for ‘touch free’ drop off and delivery for our installation experts, wiping down all surfaces touched in your cars and more.”

The company is also offering private visits, scheduled with a one-on-one consultant, as well as an option to video chat with a salesperson.
