BOLT Lock Names Mahaney 2024 Manufacturer’s Rep of the Year

Bill Mahaney of Bowdoin Marketing has been named BOLT Lock’s Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year for 2024. The award was presented at the 2024 SEMA Show.

BOLT Lock’s sales account manager, Jason Buckles, cited Mahaney’s sales performance as “going above and beyond. He aggressively works his territory and exhibits excellent communication skills with us, the manufacturer, as well as with his retail customers. Bill tirelessly promotes our BOLT Lock product line at industry events as well as consumer shows. He has done an exemplary job of supporting our brand.”

Based in Elkhart, Indiana, Mahaney has been affiliated with Bowdoin Marketing for 17 years.  He covers the states of northern Ohio, northern Indiana, western Pennsylvania and all of lower Michigan.

He received a diesel degree from Denver Auto & Diesel and graduated from Ferris State University with an associate’s degree in automotive and a bachelor’s degree in  business administration.

Mahaney started his career working for Martin Senour Paints, a division of Sherwin Williams. He then went into retail sales, working at several auto parts stores in the South Bend, Indiana area. He also spent five years in the truck accessories aftermarket with Blacksmith Distributing before joining Bowdin.
