“Beth’s diverse background and extensive experience in the aftermarket will undoubtedly enrich our board discussions and bring valuable insights to our decision-making processes” said Larry Magee, president of AACF. “We look forward to working with her to advance our mission of helping those industry families who need it most.”
Skove brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience in the automotive aftermarket, the organization said. Her career has included leadership roles with parts, tools and equipment and PBE manufacturers, as well as publishing.
“I am honored to take on this role and hope to give back a fraction of what this industry has given me. With so many of my industry friends getting older, and ‘aging out’ of the industry, I feel it is the time for me to step in and step up. The AACF is under-recognized for what it means to our industry,” said Skove. “I hope to help spread the word that AACF is here solely to help any and all automotive aftermarket members, from the technician to the warehouse worker to the President. If the need is real, the AACF will help.”
