Bentley to Build 12 ‘Blower’ Replicas

Bentley has announced that, with the help of its Mulliner coachwork division, it will be building 12 replicas of Sir Tim Birkin’s 1929 supercharged 4-1/2-liter “Blower” Bentley, which raced at Le Mans.

Only four of the original pre-war chassis were built in the late 1920s, all of which saw action with Birkin’s race team.
