Bring A Trailer (BaT), has launched its mobile app for Android users in the Google Play Store. The Android platform release, which follows the app’s initial debut on the Apple App Store in September 2023, allows community members to take the BaT experience into a mobile-first environment that includes the website’s key features, along with new ways to explore and use the site.
“We’re pleased to expand the BaT mobile experience to Android users with this launch in the Google Play Store. The BaT app for Android makes it easier than ever to stay connected with the world’s largest online community of automotive enthusiasts and buyers,” said Randy Nonnenberg, co-founder and president of Bring a Trailer.
The Android application mirrors the functionality of its Apple equivalent, spotlighting freshly listed and popular auctions, premium and no-reserve listings, bidding activity and model pages in an intuitive layout that helps users discover all manner of interesting auctions, officials stated.
The app also provides customizable alerts using the Android Notifications Center to make staying on top of auctions and bidding activity more convenient.
Key app features include:
- Simple bidding and auction monitoring
- Customizable alerts and notifications about bidding activity, closing auctions, watched vehicles and more in the Android Notifications Center for one-touch convenience
- Ability to read and leave comments on auctions and other community pages
- Access to data on BaT’s more than 138,000 completed auctions to compare and filter results, and track price trends with interactive charts
