AWE Makes Charitable Donations

AWE has made charitable donations to 12 different organizations, the company announced.

To determine where its latest give-back initiative should be directed, AWE reached out to its team of 70, the company said.

AWE narrowed its options down to 12 charities and will be dividing the donation across them according to the number of votes from its employees. The charities include Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Wounded Warriors, Philabundance, Manna on Main, Help Jackson’s Journey, HAT Packs, Feeding America, Stand Up to Cancer, the Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA), Tuesday’s Children, the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and Rescue Kitty.

“We believe that as an organization, it is critical to not only look internally for how we can be better, but also externally. As a part of this ongoing effort, we reached out to the team to get a list of charities, and to vote on where the donation would go,” said Todd Sager, president and CEO of AWE.

The checks to the organizations went out in February and follow in a long line of AWE’s charitable bent, including HAT Packs (where AWE used its Gen 6 Camaro to support the delivery to the food insecure), PPE fundraising via a “RevOff” against a fire truck and more, the company said.
