Austin Hatcher Foundation Auctions Factory Five Mk4

The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer announces the live auction of a Factory Five Mk4 Roadster, crafted by young patients in the foundation’s Industrial Arts Therapy Program. The auction, hosted on Bring A Trailer, will run from Nov. 4 – 10. Proceeds will directly benefit the Foundation’s work in providing comprehensive support for pediatric cancer patients and their families.

The “Black Ice” Black Mk4 Roadster is a modern take on the legendary Shelby Cobra, embodying both classic style and cutting-edge performance. Under the hood, the car features a powerful 460-hp Ford Gen 3 Coyote 5.0 V8 engine mated to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Built with high-quality components, including Detroit Steel wheels, Wilwood 6-piston front brakes, Koni adjustable coilovers and a custom interior by Fully Loaded Interiors, this vehicle is as comfortable on the track as it is cruising down the highway.

The Austin Hatcher Foundation’s Industrial Arts Therapy Program integrates elements of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) to help families and children coping with pediatric cancer gain critical life skills while engaging in therapeutic activities. The program provides a sense of accomplishment and confidence for each participant, helping them heal and grow even amidst challenging circumstances.
