The new AP Racing North America Corporation (APRNA) office will support all of AP Racing’s U.S. customers, including its recent contract with an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), which will be adopting AP Racing components with production beginning later in 2022, the company said.
The company’s commitment to establishing this new US presence follows exciting opportunities for growth within the region, company representatives said, and investment in this new office, and a skilled local team, will greatly enhance support and customer liaison for new and existing customers using AP Racing’s high-performance brake and clutch components.
While AP Racing has permanent staff working alongside US distributor Essex Parts Services – who will remain the exclusive North American Distributor – APRNA aims to enhance the connection between AP Racing’s global headquarters in Coventry, UK, and direct customers, including OEMs and race teams, in the U.S., the company said.
“Formation of our first US office, AP Racing North America Corp, is a major milestone in the history of AP Racing and further development of the organization within the strategic North American automotive market,” said David Hamblin, managing director at AP Racing. “APRNA will support business for both road and race applications in the U.S. Centrally located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the new office provides the perfect location to service our expanding customer base.”
The new APRNA site is expected to open in April.
