Through years of research and development, Aeromotive created four new brushless pumps- the Brushless A1000, Brushless Eliminator, the 3.5gpm and 5.0gpm Gear Pumps. The company’s brushless technology creates less heat, draws less power and eliminates the potential for wear, making the pumps ideal for dual purpose use requiring a continuous-duty fuel pump, according to Aeromotive.
“When designing our new line of brushless pumps, it was important to keep the final product in the same size and shape to be able to fit into our fuel systems and offer a chance for customers to upgrade their existing Aeromotive set-ups,” said Steve Matusek, president of Aeromotive.
The four new brushless Aeromotive fuel pumps are available in three configurations:
- External in-line
- Direct drop-in replacement for any Aeromotive fuel cell, including COPO, Cobra Jet or Drag Pak factory race cars
- As complete fuel cells available in 6-, 15- or 20- gallon capacities.
The Brushless A1000 and Eliminator feature the same roller vane pumping mechanisms Aeromotive is known for, but with the latest in electric motor technology, according to the company. The pumps provide more flow at higher pressure than the company’s classic products, and are engineered to last a lifetime, the company said.
Aeromotive will begin taking orders on the Brushless Series of fuel pumps on Dec. 1. The company will demonstrate its brushless technology at the Dec. 7-9 PRI Show
