The AAM Group has recognized the top data performers among its supplier partners as determined by its proprietary data-grading system, the organization announced. To create the most valuable data experience possible for AAM members, suppliers and resellers, the group issues data evaluations to its suppliers after every data load, group representatives said. Covering many aspects of quality and completeness, these data-grade cards highlight all the areas in which data shortcomings can be addressed, in order of impact from high to low.
Each year, AAM presents its highest data achievers with medals and certificates that recognize the effort that goes into creating outstanding data that enhances the success of stakeholders throughout the specialty automotive aftermarket supply chain, the group said. An “A+” data award requires a data grade of 93 or above.
