The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF)  welcomes two highly respected industry leaders to its board of trustees: Zenata Perez, global head of sales for vehicle management solutions at Sensata Technologies, and Mike Cooper, senior vice president of Professional US/Puerto Rico at Advance Auto Parts.

Perez Has Over 20 Years of Experience in the Auto Industry

Perez brings over two decades of global experience in sales, business development and strategic leadership across the automotive sector. At Sensata Technologies, she leads global sales and manages key partnerships across multiple regions. A passionate advocate for the industry, she is actively involved with Auto Care Association, MEMA, and Women in Auto Care, company officials stated in a press release.

“I am truly honored to join the AACF Board of Trustees and to serve an organization that reflects the heart, compassion and unity of our industry. This role is deeply meaningful to me because it allows me to give back to the people and families who are the backbone of the automotive aftermarket, whose commitment, skill and hard work keep our industry thriving. I am committed to using my experience and my voice to help the AACF reach more people, raise awareness, and ensure that in life’s most difficult moments, no one in our community feels alone. Together, we can provide not only support but also hope, encouragement, and the reassurance that help is always within reach.”

Cooper Committed to Excellence & Community Impact

Cooper oversees the Professional business segment for Advance Auto Parts across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. With extensive experience in driving growth, building strong customer relationships and leading high-performing teams, Cooper’s leadership reflects a deep commitment to both business excellence and community impact, noted the release.

“It’s a privilege to join the Board of the AACF and be part of an organization that makes such a positive impact nationwide. I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members to help guide and strengthen the important work being done to support those in need.”

Perez & Cooper Will Help the AACF Reach More Families in Need

AACF says that both new trustees bring fresh insights and extensive networks that will help the organization expand its visibility, deepen industry engagement and reach even more families in need. Their expertise will be instrumental in guiding strategic initiatives, building partnerships, and advancing the Foundation’s mission to provide vital support during times of crisis.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Zenata and Mike to the AACF board,” said executive director John Kairys. “They both bring unique strengths, broad industry perspectives, and a shared passion for helping people are qualities that will help us continue our mission at an even greater scale.”
