The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF), a 501(c)(3) organization supporting individuals and families in the aftermarket industry, has announced an extension for nominations for the AACF Humanitarian Award, giving the industry additional time to recognize individuals who are making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. The new deadline to submit nominations is March 17, 2026.

The AACF Humanitarian Award recognizes individuals, groups and organizations in the aftermarket industry who demonstrate exceptional compassion, generosity and service to others. Whether through volunteerism, charitable work, mentorship or community leadership, nominees represent the heart of an industry that believes in supporting one another during life’s most challenging moments, organization officials stated in a press release.

“We have been truly inspired by the nominations submitted so far,” said John Kairys, executive director of AACF. “Reading the stories of individuals and organizations who give their time, talent, and resources to help others reminds us of the incredible spirit that exists throughout the aftermarket. We are honored to learn about their contributions and the impact they have on their communities.”

The recipient of the 2026 AACF Humanitarian Award will be announced during the MEMA Vision Conference in Dearborn, Michigan, bringing together leaders from across the aftermarket to recognize outstanding humanitarian impact within the industry.
