AACF Announces the Retirement of Chuck McCourt

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF), a 501(c)(3) supporting people in the automotive aftermarket industry and their families, announces the retirement of Chuck McCourt, a trustee and chairman of the Recipient Review Committee. After more than 50 years in the automotive aftermarket industry and years of dedicated service to AACF, McCourt is stepping down from his leadership roles.

McCourt, president of McCourt Marketing Group, has made a profound impact on the industry, according to AACF officials.

“We are deeply grateful to Chuck for his time and support, particularly his tireless dedication to leading the recipient review committee and his many years of sponsorship at our annual charity golf tournament,” said Jon Owens, president of AACF. “His legacy of commitment and service will continue to inspire.”

Succeeding McCourt as chair of the recipient review committee is David Young, vice president and general manager, North America DIFM of Valvoline Global Operations. Additionally, board trustee Marc Blackman, CEO of Gold Eagle Co. will be joining the executive committee.

“We thank David and Marc for stepping up, and we are confident that their leadership will carry on the tradition of excellence Chuck established,” added John Kairys, AACF’s executive director.

As the AACF celebrates 65 years of supporting families in the automotive aftermarket industry, it remains committed to the mission of providing critical assistance to those in need, the organization states.
