AACF Announces 32nd Annual Bob Schoeberl Memorial Golf Tournament

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has announced the 32nd Annual Bob Schoeberl Memorial Golf Tournament, “a premier event that brings together the automotive aftermarket industry for a cause that makes a real difference.”

The tournament is set for Monday, Nov. 4, at the Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, prior to the SEMA Show.

“This tournament is more than just a golf event; it’s a gathering of the aftermarket community for a cause that touches so many lives,” said Jeff Helfrich, golf committee chairman. “Each year, I am humbled by the overwhelming support and the positive impact we make hosting this event. We look forward to another outstanding year.”

The tournament supports the AACF’s mission of providing essential resources and assistance to industry members in need.

Event Highlights:

  • Cocktail Reception: The festivities begin on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception in the Sunrise Room of the Spanish Trail Country Club. This reception is an opportunity to network with industry leaders while enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and live music.
  • Golf Tournament: Monday, Nov. 4, the day kicks off with registration at 6:30 a.m., followed by a continental breakfast and a chance to warm up at the driving range or practice putting green. The tournament tees off at 8:00 a.m. After the round, players are invited to a celebratory luncheon featuring door prizes, a live auction and the announcement of annual prize drawing winners—including the grand prize of an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Cabo, Mexico, sponsored by Acel LLC. The event concludes with the presentation of trophies to the tournament champions.

“For me, the AACF Bob Schoeberl Memorial Golf Tournament is a highlight of the year,” said Mike Dever of NAPA Auto Parts, a long-time sponsor of the event. “The camaraderie, the competition, and most importantly, the purpose behind it all make this event truly special. Being part of this tournament year after year is an honor, and I’m proud to support such a meaningful cause.”

  • Additions: This year, the impressive long ball drivers and newly added lady pros, will add even more excitement to the day’s events. An exclusive silent auction at Sunday night’s cocktail reception will include a Formula 1 package for the 2025 season sponsored by Valvoline Global Operations, auctioned at Monday’s luncheon.
  • Annual Prize Drawing: Following Monday’s luncheon, AACF will hold a prize drawing with over 20 prizes up for grabs. For more information on how to enter the drawing, visit the website here.
