The 69th Annual Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance Taking Place June 22

The event will celebrate Cadillac, turbocharged horsepower & Ferrari & Volkswagen anniversaries…

The 69th annual Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance will honor the world of turbocharged cars, Cadillac and special Ferrari and Volkswagen anniversaries at its annual salute to automotive excellence on June 22 at the Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame, California.

The day’s festivities will include the display of some of the world’s most popular and powerful turbocharged vehicles built before 1993, noted event organizers in a press release. Special collections will salute the 50th anniversary of Ferrari’s 308/328, as well as the 90th anniversary of Volkswagen’s Beetle and the 75th anniversary of its Bus. The show’s 24 judged classes will include two new entries: pre- and post-war Cadillac.

“More than 100 years of exquisite global automotive design and performance will be on display at this year’s Concours, offering guests a first-hand look at the history and innovation of the world’s most notable luxury and sports cars,” said Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance chairman Glen Egan. “We look forward to welcoming everyone for this incredible celebration.”

Weekend Festivities at the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance

The Concours festivities will begin on Friday night, June 20, with the annual Start Your Engines kick-off party, which will be held at an exclusive, private vintage car club located in a historic building in Burlingame. On Saturday morning, the annual Hillsborough Tour d’Elegance road rally will navigate the Bay Area’s back roads and finish at a secret location for lunch.

Founded in 1956, the Concours presents rare automobiles spanning many genres and marques—from hot rods and muscle cars to sports cars and elegant classic luxury models—on the 18th fairway of the Crystal Springs Golf Course.

Partnering with the Town of Hillsborough, the all-volunteer Hillsborough Concours Foundation organizes this annual event and raises proceeds for Ability PathThe Guardsmen and the Hillsborough Schools Foundation.
