Chris Magnum from Magnum Automotive Designs Industries (MAD) and 3M Window Films recently showcased their partnership with the unveiling of two limited-edition Ford 2018 Limited Edition Raptors and a 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible.
The concept vehicles, which were featured during SEMA 2017 and will be displayed at various locations throughout the year, were designed to embody both functionality and luxury while enhancing the cars’ new designs.
Looking for a solution that provided sun control as well as aesthetics, 3M authorized dealer OC Tint installed 3M Automotive Window Film Crystalline Series 40 and 70 on all three vehicles. In addition to providing superior sun protection by rejecting up to 97 percent of heat-producing infrared rays, the film also blocks up to 99.9 percent of UV rays, protecting the cars’ interiors, according to 3M.
“MAD Industries is proud to partner with 3M as the company’s 3M Automotive Window Film Crystalline Series rejects more heat than many darker films without changing the appearance of a vehicle,” Magnum said. “Most importantly, 3M manufactures window films that are available in a variety of styles and tint levels, to meet the needs of any of our custom vehicle builds.”
