Limited rear visibility can be a safety concern on work trucks, fleet vehicles and off-road builds, especially in jobsite, trail and roadside environments where awareness behind the vehicle matters. The Putco Stinger™ Chase is a chase-style rear safety lighting system designed to add rear-facing illumination without altering factory vehicle styling.
The system mounts beneath the factory third brake light, positioning rear lighting at a natural line of sight while maintaining a clean, integrated appearance. Each kit is designed for vehicle-specific fitment using OEM CAD data and utilizes an aluminum mounting bracket finished in a textured black powder coat for durability in demanding conditions.
The Stinger Chase ships preassembled and prewired to streamline installation. Once installed, the lighting array provides rear-facing illumination intended for work operations, trail driving and roadside situations. The kit includes three perimeter strobe modules housed in sealed enclosures to help protect against water and dust exposure.
By locating the lighting system beneath the third brake light, this chase-style solution offers an alternative to roof- or bumper-mounted lighting while preserving factory aesthetics.
