Roush Performance Introduces 2023 TrakPak Mustang

Roush Performance has introduced its 2023 TrakPak Mustang, the performance brand announced.

The 2023 Roush TrakPak Mustang features a custom-calibrated MagneRide suspension, powertrain cooling upgrades, a performance exhaust and competition tires. Available in a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission, this latest addition to the Roush stable is purpose-built for the track, Roush Performance engineers said.

The 2023 TrakPak Mustang’s Roush-calibrated MagneRide active suspension is designed to be responsive on track but comfortable for daily driving, designers said. Roush powertrain cooling components include transmission and differential coolers that work with the performance oil cooling system and heat-extracting vents to decrease engine and driveline temperatures. Gloss black or Palladium Gray Roush 20-inch wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires help the TrakPak grip the pavement. Optional 20-inch high-performance Agate Gray forged wheels are available.

The Roush Active Exhaust System features an electronically controlled valve, while a Roush-branded console-mounted selector dial allows drivers to toggle between touring, sport, track and custom modes. The exhaust exits the rear via black-tipped quad pipes, and an Active Exhaust application for iOS allows the driver to create sound profiles.

The body of Roush’s latest Mustang includes high-flow corner pockets and a lower grille front chin spoiler, paired with rear aerofoils and an exclusive Roush black spoiler. The hood and fender heat extractors improve heat dissipation from the engine bay. Wheel shrouds, a rear decklid Roush blackout panel, puddle lamps and Roush badging complete the exterior styling.

Interior details include premium black or Amaretto Brown leather seats, serialized TrakPak badging and a Roush shift ball for vehicles equipped with the 6-speed manual.

“The 2023 TrakPak is a celebration of over 25 years of performance engineering,” said Jack Roush Jr. “We’re enthusiasts first, so we wanted to blend top-of-the-line performance modifications with a hint of luxury to create the perfect track machine. I own one myself and can tell you firsthand that we accomplished what we set out to do. I’m very excited to add the TrakPak to our 2023 flagship lineup.”
