The rare and odd custom vehicles displayed at the SEMA Show every year may not be the most practical examples of what the aftermarket has to offer, but that’s not the point. Factory vehicles have always provided the aftermarket a canvas to reinvent the space. While the off-road rarities and oddities presented in the photo gallery below may never be seen on the street, they serve as reminders that it’s ok to dream up new ideas. That’s perhaps why consumers consider the aftermarket in the first place, regardless of what factory options OEs offer.
