PHOTO GALLERY: 1935 Buick Hearse Transformed into Custom Limo

Purchased at auction by Keith Goggin, this 1935 Series 90 Buick Hearse was transformed into a custom limo by The Custom Shop in Flanagan, Illinois, owned by John Wargo.

Powered by a 502 Big Block Chevy, the totally revamped Buick features a rebuilt chassis with a Heidts IRS suspension, inboard Wilwood brakes, quad coilovers and a Bowler Performance 4L65E transmission.

The car was block sanded several times before getting a Candy Brandy Wine custom paint job.

Inside, The Custom Shop added a third row of seating, plus a Dual Zone Vintage Air system and Sony audio system.

To put the finishing touches on the limo’s vintage gangster look, Wargo added 17-inch Artillery wheels with whitewall tires.

Once finished, Goggin road tripped with his family to California for the car’s first trip out of the shop.

Check out the photos above to see the finished vehicle.
