E.C.D. Automotive Design Reveals Defender 110 Crew Cab

E.C.D. Automotive Design (E.C.D.), an automotive company specializing in restoring and customizing old Land Rover Defenders and antique Range Rovers, has revealed its newest build, a Land Rover Defender 110 Crew Cab.

In a nod to its heritage, this rebuilt vintage Defender, named Project Flinders is painted in British Racing Green. Powered by a 565 HP LS3 engine with 6-speed transmission, the classic Defender has a fully upgraded E.C.D. Air Ride suspension system, FAST brakes and Borla Sport Dual Plus exhaust. Packed to perform, the custom Defender rides on 18-inch Kahn Design 1983 wheels and 18-inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires. Project Flinders’ exterior has all-black features, including a classic style grill and a classic bumper with a Warn winch and nudge bar. Rounding out the build is a full external roll cage with a roof rack and four LED front lights.

Project Flinders has heated and ventilated Recaro Orthoped front seats and a Puma 60/40 split midrow. Each seat is wrapped in Spinneybeck hand-tipped leather with a vertical diamond design. The same leather covers the interior throughout, including the restored Defender’s door cards, center console and dashboard. Classic touches include an NRG wooden steering wheel, vintage gauges and center clock.

The old Defender is fully upgraded with modern conveniences. Project Flinders features an Infinity KAPPA sound system, an Alpine Infotainment system with carplay, four USB charging points, backup cameras and a backup sensor.

“Project Flinders is a rare treasure and an incredible presence on the road. Since the D110 Crew Cab is a fairly unusual body style in the U.S., the sight of this vintage vehicle is sure to turn heads and get attention,” said E.C.D. Co-Founder Scott Wallace. “Project Flinders’ hand-crafted customizations make it a step above, because what can be rarer than a one-of-one dream vehicle restored just for you?”
