Alfa Romeo will be offering limited-edition, 100th Anniversary models of the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio to celebrate 100 years since the badge made its racing debut, the Italian manufacturer announced.
Limited to just 100 units each globally for the Giulia and Stelvio (200 total), the anniversary models models include celebratory badges, as well as exclusive design features and finishes to mark the milestone, the company said.
Burnished 5-hole 19-inch sports alloy wheels for the Giulia, 21-inch for the Stelvio, house exclusive gold brake calipers. A gold badge indicating 100 years of the Quadrifoglio is also positioned on the mudguard of both cars. In addition to carbon-fiber grille and mirror caps, the instrument panel, central tunnel and door panels are all built with carbon fiber. The interior is finished with black leather and Alcantara with exclusive gold stitching on the dashboard and an embroidered “100” next to the new gold Quadrifoglio logo. The steering wheel is upholstered in leather and Alcantara with black stitching and carbon-fiber inserts.
The Quadrifoglio badge originated in 1923 at the Targa Florio, the prestigious Sicilian race, Alfa Romeo said, where Ugo Sivocci brought home the win for the manufacturer. The Quadrifoglio badge later made its first appearance on a road vehicle with the Giulia Sprint GT Veloce.
