Young Named Weld Racing President, CEO

Kansas City, Mo.-based Weld Racing, a manufacturer of forged aluminum wheels, has appointed Norman Young as president and CEO.

“We are excited to announce Norman Young’s appointment to Weld Racing,” said Peter Lehman, Granite Creek managing partner and Weld Racing chairman. “Norman brings industry knowledge and a market-driven approach that will grow and expand upon Weld’s strong foundation.”

Young comes to Weld Racing with 25 years of operations, sales, marketing and service experience in the automotive industry, according to a press release. Most recently, he served as CEO for ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Co., and also held several senior leadership roles at Delphi and SPX.
