Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC) will sponsor the New England Patriots, the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts during the 2013 NFL season.
The Colts sponsorship will be YTC’s first affiliation with the Indianapolis team, while it will be the company’s second year sponsoring the Bears and its third year with the Patriots, according to the company
“The teams we’re sponsoring this season are all (past) Super Bowl champions with passionate fan bases,” said Andrew Briggs, director of marketing and product planning for Yokohama. “Each is a strong partnership that will increase awareness of Yokohama in their respective markets and help drive more foot traffic into the showrooms of our local dealers.”
YTC will advertise across each team’s TV platform. The partnership with the Colts will include a social media involvement and an interactive booth in the Fan Zone area at their eight home games, according to the company.
