Howell, Mich.-based Workshop Hero, a division of Armor Protective Packaging, was recently the recipient of 11 American Advertising Awards from the Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance, a local chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).

The American Advertising Awards recognize advertising from media of all types worldwide. A panel of three recognized industry professionals from outside of Michigan judged more than 340 entries, according to Workshop Hero.

“We congratulate Patten ID and Gennara Photography for receipt of the awards, and thank and acknowledge both for helping establish and advance the Workshop Hero brand through first-rate creative executions,” said David Yancho, vice president of marketing for Armor Protective Packaging and Workshop Hero.

Workshop Hero’s entries that earned “gold” recognition include the Frank Fritz Workshop Hero Van (Patten ID), Workshop Hero Promotional Toolboxes (Patten ID) and Frank Fritz Workshop Photo (Gennara Photography). Awards with gold designation will advance to Chicago to compete in the next round of national competition, the company noted.
