A lucky racer will win a new dragster rolling chassis in an event celebrating the life of an industry professional.
S&W Performance Group is supporting the 2015 Fun in the Sun Race-a Tribute to Scott Weney, Nov. 13-16 at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida. The second annual race is dedicated to Weney, S&W’s former president and FIS race co-owner.
“Thanks to the efforts of Scotty Richardson and Jeff Stange, the Fun in the Sun race will continue to shine on!” the company stated in a press release. “S&W not only looks forward to supporting this event, but also future Gear Head Racing Series promotions.”
The S&W Performance Group will be offering contingency prizes to daily FIS winners and runners-up during the event, with the highlight being the presentation of a new 2015 S&W dragster rolling chassis to the Race for the Dragster winner.

“Thanks to support from our generous vendors, this dragster will be loaded,” the company noted.
