Dawn Patrol has become among the favorite events by attendees of the Concours d’Elegance at Pebble Beach, which was held last month.
The video above provided by Coker Tire Co., shows a glimpse of the event as the early morning sun cracks the horizon and classic car staging begins.
This year’s Best of Show winner, a 1924 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A Cabriolet, rolled onto the lawn at Pebble Beach on Coker tires after an extensive restoration. The car was built in 1924, but its current body wasn’t fitted until 1932 and in all the time since then, the car has only had four owners.
Many other Best of Class winning cars at Concours d’Elegance were seated atop period-correct tires from Coker Tire, including a 1957 Ferrari 250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolet Series I, a 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Kellner Torpedo Phaeton, and a 1956 Jaguar D-Type Roadster.
Other trophy-winning vehicles sporting Coker tires included the Chairmans Trophy winner, a 1926 Renault 45MC Manessius Cabriolet de Ville; the Classic Car Club of America Trophy winner, a 1931 duPont Model H Merrimac Sport Phaeton; and theLincoln Trophy winner, a 1933 Lincoln KB Dietrich.
