After taking a good long look at where Valley Towing would like to see itself in the future, the company is going back to the basics, Mike McCann, the general manager of Valley Towing, told RV PRO magazine, sibling of Restyling.

In fact, in recent weeks, Valley Towing has experienced several changes.

“There have been some layoffs and some changes,” McCann said, without elaborating on the number of individuals. “Valley is ready to put a strong focus on distribution to the RV market.”

Which means, Valley is switching from being a direct distributor to one that will partner with companies that are truly distributors, such as NTP, McCann said.

With the new focus in motion, Valley has promoted Craig Antich as national sales manager. Previously, McCann served as director of sales and marketing.

“He (Antich) has a lot of industry experience with towing, as well as the automotive aftermarket,” McCann said. “He has been with Valley for three years overall.”

Antich is not the only one who has been promoted recently at Valley Towing.

McCann himself announced that he was promoted to general manager at Valley Towing about a month ago.

Ultimately, McCann said Valley Towing will continue to be a very strong OES — just with a strong focus on the RV distribution model.

“Valley is here to stay,” he said.
