“The MAHLE Original brand is well-known for its comprehensive coverage of original equipment engine parts applications,” said Kyle Shelley, director of sales for Turn 14 Distribution. “These products are used by the OE market and allow Turn 14 Distribution to position itself as the one-stop shopping source for our customers providing engine repair services. By adding the MAHLE Original lineup to our distribution network, our customers can be assured that they’ll get the OE replacement products they need, when they require them.”
Founded as a small company in 1920 to develop light-alloy pistons to replace the then-traditional gray cast-iron pistons in use, MAHLE now has production facilities all over the world, manufacturing engine components for internal combustion engines used in passenger cars and industrial applications.
Today, half of all automobiles produced worldwide contain MAHLE components, according to the company.
