Kahn Media will be charged with public relations, social media marketing, brand journalism and strategic communications to help the Orange County, California-based company market its “Enthusiast Grade” and professional washes, waxes, polishes and surface care products, which are available nationwide as well as in over 20 countries across the globe, according to an announcement.
“Surf City Garage has grown at an incredible rate since we launched our car care line in 2007,” said Tim Miller, company founder and CEO. “We chose Kahn Media to grow even faster. We’re entrepreneurs, so we were impressed with Kahn’s non-traditional approach and personal relationships with high-profile car builders and top industry brands.”
Surf City Garage has roots that go back to 1970, when Miller bought his first car-a 1967 Pontiac GTO with a 400 V-8 and a 4-speed-that he raced at various tracks around Southern California, according to the company.
Later, Miller began acquiring other cars and his American Muscle Car Collection became the foundation of Surf City Garage, based in Huntington Beach, California. His stable now includes more than 100 vintage cars as well as a recreation of a 1950s Flying A gas station and a complete restoration shop.
