Roland Plans Wrap Workshops in Kentucky and North Carolina

Mar 6, 2014

Irvine, Calif.-based Roland DGA, a manufacturer of wide-format digital printers, recently held its “Born-To-Wrap” workshop in Irvine, Calif., and plans to hold two more sessions in Louisville, Ky., and Welcome, N.C.

The two-day workshops provide extensive vehicle design, production and installation training, as well as valuable real-world business tips for operating a successful vehicle wrap business, according to Roland DGA. The next Born-To-Wrap workshops will be held June 17-18 at the Digital EFX Wraps facility in Louisville and Nov. 12-13 at the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) graphics Center in Welcome.

“By attending these workshops, participants can learn all the things it took us years to discover, mostly through the school of hard knocks, over the course of just a couple of days,” said Matt Richart, a Born-To-Wrap instructor and co-owner of Digital EFX Wraps. “Along with classroom instruction, we simulate a real-world shop environment to let the students put what they’ve learned into practice. That includes designing wraps, working on Roland wide-format printer/cutters to produce the prints, and performing actual vehicle wrap installations.”
