San Diego-based Rhino Linings Corp. reports steady growth in its auto dealership market.
Auto dealerships accounted for 20 percent of new Rhino Linings applicators in 2013, double the number of dealers from 2012, according to the company. Three auto dealerships that started offering Rhino Linings in 2013 have already earned recognition for being among the top 30 Rhino Lings applicators in North America.
“We continue to see a steady increase in the number of new Rhino Linings applicators who are also automobile dealers,” said Pierre Gagnon, president and CEO of Rhino Linings. “We’ve observed that the dealerships that treat Rhino Linings as a separate business, dedicate resources to it and advertise their association with Rhino Linings, have the most success.”
Rhino Linings noted that many dealerships began bringing aftermarket services in-house for an additional source of revenue during the past several years due to the economic downturn. As a result, aftermarket companies like Rhino Linings benefited from the newly interested dealers.
