Daniel Apa and Joe Fazio will be recognized as the 2013 Tint World Franchisees of the Year by the International Franchise Association (IFA), a worldwide promoter of franchising through government relations, public relations and educational programs. Apa and Fazio were nominated for the award by Charles Bonfiglio, CEO of Tint World.
Apa is the owner of two Tint World locations in North Carolina. He opened a location in Greensboro in 2012 with Fazio and took over ownership of the Charlotte location in January, according to Tint World.
“I take my position in our company very seriously and I look forward to our growth,” Apa said. “It takes a special type of personality and you have to be willing to soak it all in and filter not only what is valuable at the time, but also have the knowledge to pick up on what may become valuable in the future.”
Apa said he hopes to expand the residential and commercial tinting operations of his stores in the future.
Apa and Fazio own four Tint World franchise licenses and plan to open two more stores within the next year, according to Bonfiglio.
“They both have faithfully embraced purchasing four Tint World franchise locations in North Carolina, and flawlessly executed opening multiple stores with instant top service and sales growth success,” Bonfiglio said.
The franchisees will be recognized Sept. 16 at the Public Affairs Conference Leadership Dinner in Washington, D.C. Apa and Fazio also were recently invited to share information about franchising with members of Congress on Capitol Hill, according to Tint World.
The IFA works with business in more than 100 industries in an effort to promote the growth of franchising all over the world.
