Benicia, Calif.-based Red Line Synthetic Oil Corp. recently became the official lubricant and sponsor of the BMW Car Club of America Inc.

Red Line Oil will provide racing contingency awards at more than 30 nationwide events on the BMW CCA Club Racing schedule, according to the company.

“BMW is one of our biggest markets, and we have a tremendous dealer network that serves the racers and enthusiasts that participate within BMW CCA,” said Cameron Evans, president of Red Line Oil. “Our loyal BMW customers are buying Red Line from installers, retailers and mail order dealers on a daily basis, so it will be fun for Red Line to give back and get more interaction between them all. We might even enter our E36 project car at a few of these races as well.”

Red Line also will provide technical assistance from its Benicia headquarters.

“We get calls daily from prep shops and teams looking for the exact Red Line product for their engine, transmission and differential selections,” Evans said. “Since we are very active in this community and dealer network, we have learned which products are suited to particular conditions or applications. It helps the racers to enjoy their participation and lowers their cost of operation as well.”

Racers can contact BMW CCA Club Racing or their local chapters for decals and proof-of-purchase requirements.

“I have always been involved with prepping my own car and one of the first things I learned is Red Line,” said Gary Davis, BMW CCA Club racing national chairman. “I believe that many of our racers have shared the same experience.”
