Real Deal Steel Finishes Strong Year

Dec 29, 2016

Real Deal Steel’s fifth year is coming to a close with a 25-percent increase in sales over 2015, mostly due to the strong demand for first-generation Camaro bodies, according to the company.

“We anticipate a strong 2017 because of the continued steady demand for the Camaro coupe body and the all-new Chevy II body,” Real Deal Steel stated in a news release.

According to Joe Whitaker, Real Deal Steel co-owner, the typical customer or shop has an existing project car, has sent it to be media blasted or dipped, and realizes the body they get back is “swiss-cheese” that will require hundreds of hours of labor and thousands of dollars in repair.
