Racing stars will compete against one another in the Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge, a vehicle-modification build competition.
The winner of the competition, who will be determined by fan votes on the competition’s web page, will receive a $50,000 check for their charity of choice.
“The Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge highlights Toyota’s commitment to great cars, great racing and our great fans,” said Keith Dahl, Toyota national motorsports and engagement marketing manager.
NASCAR participants include Kyle Busch, who will modify a Camry sedan, and Clint Bowyer, who will build a Prius hybrid. NHRA participants include Antron Brown, who will modify a Sequoia SUV, and Alexis DeJoria, who will adapt a Tundra pickup truck.
In addition to voting for their favorite driver, fans will be able to watch the builds take shape through a series of reality-style “minisodes” on the website.
From Oct. 20-30, fans can vote once per day and enter to win prizes like a Toyota Racing “Dream Trip.”
The final vehicle builds will be unveiled at a press conference in the Toyota display Oct. 30 at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
