Quaker State Back in Kentucky

Jul 9, 2015

In its second year of a multi-year entitlement sponsorship, Quaker State will return to the challenging 1.5-mile tri-oval Kentucky Speedway on Saturday, July 11.

The highly anticipated Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts, part of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, will include special events for racing enthusiasts.

“The Quaker State 400 provides a tremendous atmosphere for passionate motorsports fans, and we plan to amplify that race-day experience both on and off the track,” said Gita Gidwani, Quaker State global brand manager. “We’ve worked hand-in-hand with our partners to create unique opportunities for all attendees to get in a ‘Quaker State of mind’ at Kentucky Speedway this July.”

Fans will receive green towels to wave as the race begins, have the opportunity for an autograph session with Paul Menard, driver of the No. 27 Quaker State-Menards Chevrolet, and are invited to visit the Quaker State display tent with opportunity to register to win a 2015 Dodge Ram “Big Horn” Crew Cab 4X4 pickup truck at the Fishing League Worldwide Quaker State display.

“The Quaker State 400 is the premier racing event at Kentucky Speedway, attracting fans from across the country to see their favorite drivers battle in the coveted nighttime race,” said Mark Simendinger, general manager, Kentucky Speedway. “Quaker State recognizes this fan loyalty and plans to honor it by creating exclusive, interactive experiences for them at the Speedway this year.”
