The Performance Warehouse Association recognized excellence in the industry during its annual conference in California, honoring its Person and Sales Rep of the Year.
Cary Redman, national sales manager for Edelbrock, was selected as PWA’s 2016 Person of the Year. He has many years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, having started in high school as a counterperson at CARQUEST.
He spent five years as regional sales manager for Holley Performance Products before joining Mr. Gasket/Prestolite Performance in 2003, according to a press release announcing the awards.
Redman joined Edelbrock in 2011, and works with the entire sales force to grow the performance aftermarket sales area, including with mass merchants/chain stores, as well as warehouse distributors, engine builders and supercharger accounts. He is an avid automotive enthusiast, outdoorsman and hunter.
Meanwhile, Michael Kunzman and Associates was selected as PWA’s 2016 Sales Rep of the Year. The company was founded in 1971 by Michael Kunzman and today boasts a 24-member expert staff covering 37 states, according to PWA.
