Project Vehicle Tour Kicks Off This Weekend

Jun 5, 2013

Aaron Vaccar’s AutoLife Tour, a traveling showcase of restyled vehicles, will officially kick off June 8-9 at the Scion OC Car and Truck Show in Ocean City, Md.

“We showcase five or six vehicles directly from the SEMA Show with four different project designers from a total of three major automotive manufactures,” said Aaron Vaccar, who launched the traveling car show in 2011. “Other highlights include aftermarket performance and lifestyle products on display to view and an approachable and knowledgeable staff—all mixed in a fun, causal environment.”

Aaron Vaccar, the youngest of the Vaccar family of car builders, launched his signature series in 2006. The VACCAR brand features custom cars designed for elite competitions, national and international magazines, and the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The AutoLife Tour is set to stop at 15 exclusive events. In addition to showcasing project vehicles, it offers giveaways at each event and will present two nontraditional awards at select car shows. The “Livin’ the Life Award” is given to an individual with a build that utilizes current trends and innovative ideas.

Upcoming tour events include stops at the Slamology Automotive and Music Festival June 15-16 in Indianapolis and The Michigan Mile Race/Show July 5-7 in Battle Creek, Mich.

More upcoming events will be continually added to the schedule on the Autolife Tour website.
