Supercharger company ProCharger has unveiled its ProCharged 3.7-liter V-6 Mustang that runs in the 12s.
The 2011 V-6 Mustang ran a best time of 12.5 seconds at 112.8 mph in the quarter mile at a recent track day, according to a press release.
The Kona Blue Mustang is a project car for V6Mustangperformance.com and was one of the early “beta” cars for ProCharger supercharger system development. It runs a completely stock 3.7-liter V-6 behind the ProCharger intercooled supercharger system and is driven daily.
Since its stock development at ProCharger, the owner has gone on to make some typical bolt-on modifications including a full 2-1/2-inch Bassani street race exhaust system (long-tube headers, X-pipe and mufflers) as well as a pair of Nitto NT-05 drag radials mounted on Weld RTS wheels, according to the release. It also features a one-piece aluminum drive-shaft.
Recent tests showed rear-wheel horsepower of 427 on a Mustang Dynamometer and 436 on a DynoJet dyno.
