Japan-based Pioneer Corporation reported that net sales of its car electronics increased 25.6 percent during the third quarter of the company’s 2014 fiscal year compared to the same quarter in 2013. The company saw sales of it car electronics rise to $844.6 million in the quarter, which ended in December. Pioneer’s car electronics sales were $373.1 million in the third quarter of 2013.
The company’s sales of car electronics in overseas markets, including North America, experienced a 30-percent increase during the fiscal third quarter, rising to $488.4 million compared to $373.1 million in 2013, according to Pioneer.
The company has experienced cumulative double-digit gains in car electronics sales since the start of its fiscal year. The company has netted $2.5 billion in car electronics sales in 2014, a 11.5-percent increase compared to $2.2 billion through the first nine months of 2013, according to Pioneer.
